His extensive experience of the wider cultural arena including sport & leisure, tourism, museums and arts, together with a proven track record in private/public partnership, lottery funding and the generation of inward investment programmes, equip him well to help clients with the challenges facing the leisure and cultural services industry.
David has been a strategic director in Norwich and, before that, chief officer in Oxford and St Albans. David is Honorary Secretary of the Chief Cultural and Leisure Officers Association (CLOA), a Fellow of the Institute of Leisure and Amenity Management and has previously been a Best Value Inspector, advisor to the Local Government Association (LGA) and an I&DeA Peer Support Team. He is now one of the few TAES licensed Validators in the country. His key areas of expertise and focus for Leisure-net are:
* development of strategic partnerships in the public sector
* consultancy and large scale project management
* the development and implementation of TAES
